A screw conveyor is the most versatile and customizable bulk material handling solution available. With a wide range of standardized and stocked components, screw conveyors can be easily and affordably customized to fit any application. Even completely custom solutions are standardized for ease of manufacturing, assembly and maintenance.

Screw conveyors can be designed to be horizontal, incline or vertical; as a conveyor or feeder; and even as process equipment to heat, cool and mix bulk materials as they convey. Screw conveyors are described by the diameter of the screw and by the inside length of the trough. Since screw conveyors are the most energy efficient form of conveyance, the power requirements are very low and typically under 10HP with a lot of applications under 5HP.

Screw conveyors also offer the benefit of being completely enclosed for dust/vapor containment and safety. Since a screw conveyor is completely enclosed with only a smooth low speed shaft exposed the risk to operators is very low. Even the shafts can be covered to offer a completely enclosed and worry free solution.

Screw conveyors can be manufactured in a wide variety of materials with carbon steel being the most common. Other materials of construction include 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, T1 steel, abrasion resistant steel and even exotic alloys like duplex stainless steel and titanium.
